- Bring to a boil 1/4 cup of vinegar
- Add enough cayenne pepper to make a paste.
- Apply olive oil to the skin before applying this poultice.
- Spread the paste on a bandage and apply to the sprained area.
- Leave on for 2 hours.
- Rinse off any remaining pepper.
